1. Mission of the Agricultural Community

The collective mission of the agricultural community is to:

• To gather and organize farmers into a community that is easy to manage supply and price

• To reduce high initial costs

• To produce vegetables of good quality and safety through the use of good agricultural techniques

• Increase employment for poor farmers with quality and confidence

• Make farming families informed and earn better income for their family economy

• Increase opportunities for children to have better access to education

• Make farming families responsible and healthier

• Want to see children live a full life and want a future with a warm smile

2. Objectives of the agricultural community

The main objectives of the business of the Southern Trapaing Thom Net Vegetable Farming Community are to:

• Promote branding and market research for vegetables grown by small farmers (small-scale farmers) at the local level.

• Be an agricultural community with competitive production and high profits.

• Become a leading large agricultural community in supplying vegetables that are safe and have been proven to have practiced good agriculture in production in Cambodia.

• Become a modern agricultural community that attracts investment to expand and strengthen.

• To become a multi-million dollar modern farming community by 2030.

• To support local communities in improving their livelihoods and increasing their income.

• To increase productive investment to build sustainable production systems and

• To become a green hub.

The community operates in accordance with the following core principles:

• The community believes that helping local farmers become resilient in their farming businesses helps build a healthy community. The community’s motto is “Live Healthy and Live Simply.” The community also believes that their community participation will improve the quality of the land and resources.

• To strive to conserve local resources and purchase from local farmers is to support the local economy.

• To support sustainable agriculture and livelihoods by strengthening climate-resilient farming practices.

• To serve and satisfy customers, ensuring repeat business and their referrals to expand the business.
