The main objectives of the Southern Trapaing Thom Net Vegetable Farming Community are to:
• Promote the branding and marketing of vegetables grown by small-scale farmers (farmers with small production volumes) at the grassroots level.
• Be an agricultural community with competitive production and high profitability.
• Become a leading large-scale agricultural community in supplying safe vegetables and ensuring good agricultural practices in Cambodia.
• Become a modern agricultural community that attracts investment to expand and strengthen.
• Become a modern agricultural community with multi-million dollar income by 2030.
• Support local communities in improving their livelihoods and increasing their income.
• Increase productive investment to build sustainable production systems and
• Become a green hub.
The community operates in accordance with the following core principles:
• The community believes that helping local farmers become resilient in their agricultural businesses helps build a healthy community. The community’s motto is “Live Healthy and Live Simply.” The community also believes that their participation will improve the quality of the land and resources.
• Efforts to conserve local resources and purchase from local farmers support the local economy.
